DR. BERG

Tom Berg, MD

Dr. Berg is a board certified Musculoskeletal Radiologist who serves as a consulting physician for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team, U.S. Speedskating, USA Bobsled and Skeleton, and current and former players from the Salt Lake REAL (MLS soccer), Utah Jazz and several Utah based MMA fighters.

Dr. Berg was introduced to state of the art performance and rehabilitation technologies at the USST Center of Excellence in Park City, UT and quickly noticed the burgeoning aesthetic industry in Greater Salt Lake. Interventional and diagnostic radiology employ many of the same technologies utilized in aesthetics and muscle stimulation such as Radiofrequency (RF) energy and electromagnetic pulses/ magnetic fields albeit for different use cases but the physics remain the same. In 2017, he opened USBC & Wellness Center.

Dr. Berg enjoys working with cutting edge technology to help “both” high level athletes and weekend warriors rehabilitate injuries and maximize performance as well as assisting our aesthetic clients achieve the results-driven outcomes they have come to expect.

DR. Oleny

Dan Oleny, MD

An Iowa City native, Dr. Olney , specializes in general head and neck surgery – otolaryngology, as well as, plastic surgery of the face and neck.  After graduating from the university of Iowa College of Medicine, Dr. Olney completed residency training at the Rochester department of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery which included rigorous training in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery at the prestigious Quatela Center for Facial Plastic Surgery. Dr. Olney then completed a highly competitive one-year fellowship in facial plastic surgery at the University of Missouri.  Dr. Olney is Board Certified in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery.  

      Dr. Olney has additional research interest and clinical expertise in managing medical weight loss patients utilizing GLP-1 agonists (Semaglutide and Tirzepatide) and serves as the clinical director of Medical Weight Loss at U.S. Bodycontour and Wellness Center.  

At USBC, our staff of certified clinicians are dedicated to results-driven treatments, whether it be body contouring, skin rejuvenation, or rehabilitation/fitness. 

Mia Grefe-Lewis

Clinic Director, MS

Mia is the pulse of USBC and Wellness, with a large following of loyal clients and for good reason. Her passion, expertise and over a decade of experience in high end spa and aesthetics practices has made her an invaluable member of our team. Mia is an expert at performing client workups to design the perfect package for each client’s needs and budget. She has extensive experience with GLP agonists & medical weight loss, sclerotherapy, skin tightening procedures, and she was a 2018 graduate of Coolsculpting University. 

Mariah Bails

Clinician & Esthetician

From a young age, Mariah has been extremely passionate about skincare and beauty. She has always dreamed of being in an environment where she can make people feel their best and educate them on their skincare. From service to service Mariah is dedicated to helping clients achieve all their skincare goals and feel confident in their own skin. With such passion commitment for this industry Mariah strives to ensure each and every client leaves feeling refreshed, revitalized, satisfied, and glowing.

Lydia Leyden

RN, BSN

Lydia graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with highest honors.  She gained vast clinical experience and knowledge from a variety of units within the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.  Lydia became interested in the growing aesthetics industry and joined USBC Wellness in 2021. Lydia stated she “loves helping clients achieve their personal goals and tailors her treatments to each specific client” to help them achieve the best overall experience possible.

Hope Nusser

RN

Hope Mixer, RN, is a Burlington native and Iowa City resident. She graduated from Southeastern Community College with her degree in Nursing. For the past 5 years, Hope has worked in a variety of different departments within the local hospitals, and has gained a vast wealth of knowledge and compassion for those she is able to work with. Hope’s clinical training allows her to perform each individual treatment in a relaxing and safe manner. She loves to personally tailor treatments to each client, and achieve the best possible results!
